About Missy Kellor
Missy works on the Corporate Communications team and reports stories to TDS employees and customers. This is right up her alley because she’s an extrovert and also a big fan of research (really, she’ll look up just about anything that strikes her interest). Missy is a native of Madison, Wis. with an undergraduate in Anthropology and a master’s degree in Life Sciences Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interest in the Internet as a mass media shaped her work towards a PhD in Journalism and Mass Communications. She’s also worked as an editorial assistant, copywriter, and production artist. In her off hours, Missy is a crafter, Pinterest addict, reader, wife, and mom of two kids.Tech news roundup for February 19

But should you bait these people? Well, it depends...

What was PC technology like when each new Star Wars trilogy debuted?
Jason, at F-Secure, has taken a look back in time at what home computer tech was like in 1977 when the first Star Wars movie debuted, and again in 1999 when the Lucas released the prequels (with a bit of comparison with today's gadgets). Seeing all of the generations of tech in one place is a kick!
Things you can do other than see the new Star Wars movie
Even if you ARE a Star Wars fan, you could be experiencing what my husband is calling “Star Wars fatigue.” If you’re burnt out, simply don’t give a crap about Star Wars, didn’t buy your tickets for Friday’s release a month ago, or you simply plan on waiting until the theaters will be less packed (you know, in March or April), you might be looking for a bit of a distraction this weekend.
