Getting a quick text message about something important is fast, reliable, and so darn convenient. Good news—you can sign up for three kinds of text notifications when you add a mobile number to your TDS online account.

You can opt in to get notifications about:

  • Service alerts (outages, service appointments, trouble tickets, and order updates).
  • Bill and account updates (payment reminders, any status updates about your bill and account).
  • Marketing (new products and promotions).

Quick sign-up

If you haven’t logged into your TDS Online Account in a while, you’ll be greeted by a pop-up screen where you can sign up for text notifications.

No pop-up? No problem. Here’s how to sign up:

  1. In the upper right corner, select Contact Preferences.
  2. Scroll down to Phone Contacts and click on the blue button that says Add New Phone Contacts.
  3. A pop-up will ask you what kind of number it is—landline, or mobile. Note: You’ll see brief information about message and data rates, along with links for additional details.
  4. Then, enter your number and select what kind of service alerts you’d like to receive.
  5. Click the Add Phone Contact button and you’re good to go!

Already have a mobile number in your account? Just log in, check/uncheck any notification selections, and/or add or remove phone numbers or email addresses.
