Thanksgiving is all about family, great food, and, of course, a full day of sports from the best seat in the house—your couch! And this year, the action starts early, so there’s no need to wait until Thanksgiving Day to start watching.
Thanksgiving Eve slate
The NFL’s week 12 coverage kicks off on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, Nov. 25, when the Green Bay Packers visit the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, November 25. The matchup adds even more excitement to “Thanksgiving Eve,” giving families a chance to settle in for football the day before the turkey hits the table. And the entertainment doesn’t stop at halftime, when renowned Irish rock band U2 takes the stage.
There’s plenty more Wednesday, too. The NBA has a full slate of games, including Emirates NBA Cup action, while college basketball’s Thanksgiving-week tournaments give fans even more to choose from.
Thanksgiving action
Then comes the main course—three NFL games on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26.
- The Chicago Bears visit the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. ET (CBS and Paramount+)
- The Philadelphia Eagles visit the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET (FOX and FOX One)
- The holiday wraps up with the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Buffalo Bills at 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC and Peacock)
Black Friday games
And the leftovers come with even more football. On Black Friday, Nov. 27, the Denver Broncos visit the Pittsburgh Steelers at 3 p.m. ET on Prime Video. The NHL also returns with a packed Black Friday schedule, giving hockey fans games throughout the afternoon and evening.
