Stream the Great American Eclipse!

We’re sure you’ve heard: Monday, Aug.21 is the day of the Great American Eclipse! It’s been 99 years since the last coast-to-coast eclipse in the United States. In fact, there won’t be another (this big) until the year 2045 so now’s your chance to see it—no matter where you live.

All TDS customers are invited to head to The Weather Channel to live stream the eclipse (no authentication required!). They will have meteorologists across the country reporting live, in-studio augmented reality features, and viewing path forecasts.

This means you won’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, even if you’re far from the path of totality or if the weather by you is cloudy. Coverage starts on Monday and ends on Monday so take advantage of this special offering while it—and the eclipse—lasts.

TDS customers should go to the Weather Channel’s localnow.com or download the Local Now app.

Her interest in the Internet as a mass media shaped her work towards a PhD in Journalism and Mass Communications. She’s also worked as an editorial assistant, copywriter, and production artist. This comment is sort of late (re: Eclipse and all)…but, does anyone know if/when TDS might add the Weather Channel to the HD lineup?
