For TDS TV customers west of the Mississippi River, changes are coming to select Starz channels that may impact how you watch and record channel programming. The network is removing its West Coast feed on TDS TV lineups, leaving only its East Coast schedule in all areas, meaning Starz programming may air earlier than usual for customers in the western U.S.
Beginning on Thursday, June 11, the West Coast versions of the following Starz channels will switch to East Coast feeds:
- Starz Cinema
- Starz Comedy
- Starz Edge
- Starz In Black
- Starz Kids & Family
- Starz Encore Action
- Starz Encore Black
- Starz Encore Classic
- Starz Encore Español
- Starz Encore Family
- Starz Encore Suspense
What this means for you
Customers will continue to enjoy the same great content—some may just see it at a different time. While some shows may air earlier than you’re used to, TDS TV+ customers will not experience any changes to affected OnePass recordings. However, customers without TDS TV+ may need to update scheduled recordings once feeds switch to the East Coast on June 11.
Time zone impacts
- Customers in Eastern Time: No change
- Customers in Central Time:
- East of Mississippi: No change
- West of Mississippi: Programming may air one hour earlier
- Customers in Mountain Time: Programming may air two hours earlier
- Customers in Pacific Time: Programming may air three hours earlier
We know schedule changes can take some getting used to, but you’ll still have access to the same content you enjoy—just on a new schedule. Taking a moment to review your channel lineup and update any scheduled recordings will help ensure you don’t miss a thing.
