Christmas in July square

Christmas in July is HERE

No, we’re not talking about Christmas in July sales prices—we’re talking about movies!

Sorry/not sorry to those who hate even thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but the Hallmark Channel and Hallmarkies (fans of the Hallmark Channel) operate on a different holiday enthusiasm scale.

With Christmas 177 days away, fans are getting a little taste of holiday movie goodness while it’s warm and sunny outside. Starting on July 1, Hallmark is kicking off their Christmas in July event that includes three, brand new Christmas movies.

New movies

My Grown-Up Christmas List
Premiers Saturday, July 9

Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry, both from Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart, star in this movie. The official synopsis: Taylor, a journalist, and Luke, in the military, share a special bond that grows between them over the course of several Christmases that they spend together and apart. Campfire Christmas
Premiers Saturday, July 16

Tori Anderson (NCIS, Blindspot), Corbin Bleu (yes, of High School Musical back in the day), and Jeffry Bowyer-Chapman (UnREAL, American Horror Story) star. This looks extra fun because it’s truly a Christmas in July movie—something, as far as we can remember, Hallmark has never done before (way to keep it fresh, Hallmark peeps!). The plot description is: Romance rekindles for Peyton and her closest friends when her parents decide to host a holiday-themed reunion before selling their family owned summer camp. Christmas in Toyland
Premiers Saturday, July 23

Vanessa Lengles (Turner & Hootch) and Jesse Hutch (Batwoman) star in what sounds like classic Hallmark Christmas goodness! A toy store data analyst tries to save hundreds of jobs before Christmas to keep the store alive. (Image from Hallmark)—surely there’s also Santa, snow, and the whole nine :-).

More movies!

Beyond these new movies, Hallmark will be playing Christmas favorites all.month.long (see below for the full schedule). It’s a great chance to catch any of the movies you missed last year (or the year before). You’ll also find some holiday movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries too, so don’t miss those.

You know what else? All of these Christmas movies are a good excuse to play Hallmark Christmas Movie Bingo even though it’s summer.

But wait, there’s more—in October

Countdown to Christmas always starts in the end of October so you only need to wait three months for your next dose of Hallmark holiday goodness.

No hints yet on those, but as soon as we know, you’ll know.

If you don’t have Hallmark or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as part of your TDS TV or TDS TV+ programming package, visit tdstelecom.com upgrade so you don’t miss out!
