In November, we told you about our Week of Giving when we donated $35,000 in one week to more than 100 nonprofit organizations across the country—but that was only a small part of our philanthropic story for 2022.

Last year we gave nearly a half a million dollars to hundreds of charitable organizations and people doing wonderful things in the towns and cities we live in and proudly serve.

In looking back, we made more than 300 different donations. We gave to humane societies, food pantries, mental health nonprofits, disaster recovery funds, parasport organizations, cancer charities, music access programs, and so many more.

We gave in big ways, such as our $50K donation to the new Center for Black Excellence in Madison, Wisconsin, or our $15,000 donation to Badger Honor Flight to ensure veterans can visit Washington D.C. and see the memorials in their honor. But we also helped in hundreds of small ways that have huge impacts locally.

We brought smiles to the faces of first responders, nurses, and snowplow drivers in Wisconsin, Idaho, and Utah when we delivered meals or snacks. Our associates used their company-given volunteer time to package food at local pantries across the U.S., construct homes for Habitat for Humanity, or build beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

From cash donations to help purchase back-to-school supplies to those in need, to DE&I STEM grants, to sponsorships for hometown parades, high-school tailgates, e-sports teams, parks to remember front-line workers lost to the COVID pandemic, and countless other community events—TDS is there. We want to have an impact where you live, work and play—because we live there, too.

Thank you to everyone who helped us help other this year, and we look forward to seeing what impacts we can have in 2023!
