With Google Assistant built right into the TDS TV+ remote, customers can get instant weather updates using just their voice. Simply press the Google assistant button on your remote and ask a question like, “What’s the weather today?” to see current conditions and forecasts appear on your screen.

Google Assistant can also do much more than check the forecast. You can search for shows, launch apps like Netflix or YouTube, switch channels, check sports schedules and more—all without typing.

If it’s your first time using Google Assistant, setup is quick and easy:

  1. Press the Google Assistant button on your remote
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions
  3. Once the setup is finished, hit “Ok” to start using the voice assistant
