Lights. Camera. Action!

Movie on DemandIt can be a real chore keeping up with all the new releases if you’re a film buff. So many movies come out and it’s hard to find the time to watch them all. On top of that, theater prices never seem to stop going up. Taking a family of four to the cinema can run you up to $100 dollars after all is said and done.

With high-definition services being so life-like and prevalent, you don’t need the high prices and travel time anymore. I’ve got a 60” television at home with a 7.1 surround sound system, so my home gives me virtually the same experience. All I need is access to the movies, and TDS TV has made my dream a reality.

The video-on-demand store shows a steady stream of new films. The cost ranges from $3.00 to $6.00 dollars for a multiple day rental depending what you want to watch. Right now, bank-breaking films like Iron Man 3, World War Z, This Is The End, and The Croods are available just at the touch of a button. Many of these films are made available to TDS TV customers well in advance to any other on-demand or mail subscription services or grocery store rental outlets.

Here’s a sneak peak of what’s coming soon to the video-on-demand store. There is certainly something that will interest everyone in the family:

October 8thThe Hangover III – Rated R; Follow the Wolfpack as they get into more trouble in Vegas after one of their own gets kidnapped by a gangster. They’ll need to find Mr. Chow who escaped from prison and is on the lam.

About TVTesters

Austin and Eric are “friendly testers” for TDS TV. They’re both TDS employees who volunteered to be guinea pigs try our newest product and put it through its paces in their homes. They’re not getting paid to use TDS TV or share their opinions, but they’ve offered to share their honest insights here. Austin: I’m a technology nut with a deep rooted passion for sports. Being able to watch every game for the teams I root for is essential. When I heard about TDS TV at the office, I couldn’t raise my hand fast enough to volunteer to test it out. Whether it’s a new set-top box, interface, or channels, I’ll be testing them and providing my honest feedback. Eric: I’m a sports geek and a techie nerd. I play/watch just about every sport and I love to mess around with electronic gadgets. At TDS I have experienced everything from dial-up Internet to a super high-speed connection and have tested products before. My wife is sort of a TV co-tester since we watch most of the shows we record together. I think it’s pretty cool I get to share my TDS TV experiences here!
