The 2016 Rio Olympic Games Opening Ceremony takes place on Friday, August 5, but the competition really kicks off today (August, 3) with women’s soccer. Good news for TDS TV customers: you’ll be able to tune in to the events for the next 19 days, whether you’re on the go or at home!
On the go
This year, NBCUniversal is providing a record total of 6,755 hours of Olympic programing across their networks and digital platforms. In fact, you will be able to live stream 4,500 hours of Olympic events on your desktop, laptop or mobile devices. Here’s the live stream schedule.
NBCUniversal live stream will be available through its NBC Sports app or the NBC Olympics website. Simply log in using your TDS credentials (your email address and password) to gain access.
At home
On TV, NBCUniversal networks will air events through Sunday, August 21 . The Games will be available during daytime, primetime, and late night. Check out the TV schedule now.
You’ll find events on the following channels (if they’re part of your TV package):
- NBC
- TELEMUNDO (Spanish language)
- Bravo
- CNBC
- Golf Channel
- MSNBC
- NBC Sports Network (NBCSN)
- NBC UNIVERSO (Spanish language)
- USA Network
Plus, NBC is also offering two temporary channels for watching basketball and soccer, so look for those in your guide (availability varies depending on your programming package).
