We love a good delivery pizza as much as the next person, particularly on a Friday or game night when the idea of cooking just isn’t appealing. But let’s face it, delivery isn’t as delicious (or as healthy) as the real deal. Pizza is even a good solution for leftovers – we’ve put fajita veggies, taco toppings, thai  or buffalo chicken and more on our pizzas and they’re almost more delicious than the first time around. Serve with a side salad and you’re set!

And you don’t even have to go the total DIY route – although if you do, here are some great crust ideas. Most grocery stores stock pre-made pizza crust dough (we love all of the options from Trader Joe’s, even the cauliflower crust!) and so all you’ll need to do is agree on your toppings.

For the best results, gently brush with olive oil and bake on a pizza stone, or fire up the grill (our favorite method) and grill one side, then flip, add your toppings, and finish the pizza.

Still stumped? Take a look at these “Seen on Pinterest” suggestions for toppings and combinations – we’re sure you won’t be disappointed.

Sweet & Spicy Fall Harvest
Pizza with Squash, Onions & Bacon

Modify recipes as they feel right
for you: we often use leftover caramelized
onions and roasted squash that we’ve
previouslyenjoyed as a side dish to make the
base ingredients for this pizza.

Fig & Proscuitto Pizza
with Balsamic Drizzle

The saltiness of the proscuitto
perfectly pairs with the sweetness
of the figs and the acidity of the
balsamic here. You can also add
a bit of gorgonzola, if you like.
