Cheap Tunes Tuesday: The Eels

No two Eels albums sound alike—and when you see them live, no two performances are equal either. While this album is more along the pop lines, it’s certainly not Britney or boy-band fodder. It created quite a stir at the 2000 DNC, and if you've never tried the Eels before, this is a good one to start with (and today you can score it for only $5!).

Cheap Tunes Tuesday: Eels

Great music doesn’t always come from Casey Kasem’s Top 40 Countdown. Over the years of being a music nut, I’ve stumbled upon bands that have a totally unique sound that sort of sucks you in. In today’s case, this is a band I fell in love with when I was 12 years old. Here we are nearly two decades later, and they’re still one of, if not my favorite band of all time.
