New Year’s Eve Fun at Prairie Athletic Club!

You’re invited to join us at a very special family-friendly New Year’s Eve Party. The Prairie Athletic Club in Sun Prairie, Wis. is throwing their annual, and very popular, New Year’s Eve bash—and we’re helping!

We’ve invited a face painter, plus balloon and caricature artists to come and delight kids young and old. Stop by our booth to find them (and don’t miss the prize wheel!), but there’s lots and lots of other activities happening at Prairie Athletic Club. You’ll find a DJ, a photo booth, a live animal display and, of course, swimming, basketball, pickle ball, and more!

The party is on December 31 from 5-9pm at, you guessed it, Prairie Athletic Club (1010 N. Bird Street, Sun Prairie). One ticket gets you into TWO parties: one at Prairie Athletic Club and the other at Sun Prairie Ice Arena. Buy your tickets in advance and save $5 by heading to the event webpage, or they’ll also be available at the door at regular price.

The fun also comes with a side of giving. While you’re there, we’ll be accepting donations for Sunshine Place. Serving Sun Prairie residents in need since 2007, Sunshine Place acts as a single point of access for a variety of social services.

Missy works on the Corporate Communications team and reports stories to TDS employees and customers. This is right up her alley because she’s an extrovert and also a big fan of research (really, she’ll look up just about anything that strikes her interest). Missy is a native of Madison, Wis. with an undergraduate in Anthropology and a master’s degree in Life Sciences Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interest in the Internet as a mass media shaped her work towards a PhD in Journalism and Mass Communications. She’s also worked as an editorial assistant, copywriter, and production artist. In her off hours, Missy is a crafter, Pinterest addict, reader, wife, and mom of two kids.
