This blog is meant to keep customers in Winterhaven up to speed on the status of service outages, which resulted from the March 18 fire.
Update 4/3:
We are pleased to announce all areas of TDS’ service footprint in Winterhaven have had services restored. With a select number of business customers still needing restoration, TDS will be fully reconnecting services this coming week. The map below has been updated to reflect restoration progress:
Update 4/2:
TDS teams continue to make significant progress toward restoring services for customers in Winterhaven. Restoration of the West Winterhaven network area has been completed, and local teams are following up today with additional testing of services. Work is continuing in the township of Winterhaven and eastern portions of the network area. TDS teams will continue working round the clock, testing and installing equipment over the weekend. The estimated restoration dates for East Winterhaven is still April 7th and April 10th.

TDS teams continue to make progress toward restoration of service, which is still down in the area. New equipment is currently being tested and more will be installed throughout the week
Customers located in West Winterhaven have a tentative restoration date of 4/2. East Winterhaven customers have tentative restoration dates of 4/7 and 4/10.

Our insurance company is on site, working with local authorities doing all they can to determine cause. Numerous TDS teams involved are meeting every day, working towards securing appropriate permits to rebuild.
