As part of our efforts to continuously improve our infrastructure for a better customer experience, TDS will be upgrading equipment to ensure video service reliability. For TDS TV customers in the western U.S., we will replace an outdated satellite dish that receives video feeds for several networks. Installing a new dish will improve signal quality, prevent the video signal from degrading, and reduce the risk of major service disruptions for customers in the future.
The installation of the new satellite dish will occur overnight on Wednesday, July 15 and into the early morning hours of Thursday, July 16. The maintenance will cause some networks to be temporarily out of service for TDS TV customers in the western U.S., including Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado.
Signal is expected to be restored during the morning of July 16. In addition, customers may experience short periods of disruption to these channels in the early morning hours of Friday, July 17, as we work to fine tune the signal to optimize performance.
