You heard the news, right? We started installations in Sun Prairie!
To celebrate, we randomly selected a few of the very first customers and surprised them with gift baskets (made by Splurge, by the way) and visit from our local market managers, Michael and Josh.
A huge thank you to Jorg and Jay for being good sports and some of the very first TDS Fiber customers.
If you live in an area that has launched and your installation isn’t on the books yet, don’t worry. We’ll be reaching out to you shortly if you have an order on file. In the meantime, just hang tight and rest assured that we’ll be getting to you soon.
If your neighborhood’s launch is still to come, we’ll send you an email about one month before services are available with a link to a web order form. Once that’s done, we’ll call to schedule your install once your area is ready to go.
Reminder: If your area hasn’t launched yet, there’s still time to register and score some special offers! Those who come late to the TDS Fiber party will miss out so be sure to take action while you can.
I liven Sun Prairie, area 1453CD, any updates on installation for us’
Tom, all areas in Sun Prairie are moving according to our launch date schedule. When fiber services are ready to launch in your neighborhood, you will be contacted to place an order if you haven’t done so already. Soon after, an installation date will be scheduled to connect the fiber line to your home and set up equipment.
Do the markings in your yard indicate you ‘re close to installation and someone calling or visiting to sign you up? We are preregistered.
Yes and no :-). We’re doing our best to get out and make fiber drops in yards where folks have registered before the ground freezes. This means you could see activity even though your neighborhood’s launch date is still to come (the fiber drops are just one step in the connection process). As your neighborhood launch date approaches, you’ll be contacted to place your order and schedule your installation.
When I preregistered with an TDS employee that came to our house, we were told we should be hooked up in October. Your website now says our installation should take place in December for my neighborhood. Why the delay?
Sorry for the reply delay, Bob. We did have a few spots where we encountered unexpected challenges (yeah, weren’t happy either). Thank you for your patience!
