TDS is honored to be named Best Internet Provider and Best Telecommunications Firm in the North Idaho Business Journal’s annual competition!
“We’re thrilled to receive this recognition. TDS loves being part of this community and working with so many wonderful residents and businesses,” said Sandy Hendrix, TDS associate manager of Field Marketing. “Our mission is to build a better world by providing high-quality communications services, and we’re proud to do our part to make North Idaho a great place to live.”
TDS has served North Idaho since 2019, when it began construction on a high-speed, all-fiber internet network connecting homes and businesses in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, and Rathdrum. The company offers lightning-fast speeds up to 8 Gigabit – a robust connection that allows customers to download and upload files of any size nearly instantly.
TDS’ TV product, TDS TV®+, offers local and national networks, integration with popular streaming services, the ability to start shows over, and cloud DVR. Last year, the company began offering TDS Mobile in North Idaho, giving customers affordable prices when bundled with TDS internet, flexible plans, and a nationwide 5G network.
Beyond the standard service options, TDS offers a low-cost service for qualifying customers called TDS Connect that includes speeds up to 200 Mbps.
In addition to its services, helping the communities it serves is a core part of TDS’ mission. TDS has been active in supporting a number of great North Idaho events and organizations, such as the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association, Museum of North Idaho, local chambers of commerce, and many more.
Through its Hometown Hero program, TDS honors difference-makers in the community. Most recently, nonprofit founder Tess Reasor won the award, which included a donation to her organization which helps those recovering from substance abuse and mental health issues.
“TDS is a family-operated company that invests in people and communities. We’re excited to continue working diligently to serve the North Idaho region for many years to come,” Hendrix said.
