Do you like talking on the phone? If not, we’ve got a solution

06-21-13 TDS chat blog picSome people LOVE, I mean LOVE, talking on the phone. In this video Baby Troy (who is absolutely adorable) just can’t get enough of it. On a side note at about the 17-second mark it sounds like he says, “All right. Good luck. Cat food.” You can let me know what you think he says in the comment section below.

Not everyone enjoys talking on the phone as much as Baby Troy. Some, for whatever reason, loathe the idea of speaking on the phone. Personally, I’d rather talk on the phone than send a text. Texting, in my mind, just takes too much time. I can wrap up a phone conversation in a matter of minutes. Sometimes a text conversation unfolds over several days. Plus, it is really hard to pick up on emotions or feelings by text. But that’s just me and I can be kind of old school. I did recently purchase a desktop computer (yes that really did happen).

However, texting or in this case live chat does have its place. No two people are the same. Some like to talk others like to text. In May TDS rolled out its new live chat feature for people who feel more comfortable letting their fingers do the talking. Since the beginning of May more 1,000 people have put down their phone and picked up their keyboard and mouse to reach TDS. To make things easier for the anti-Baby Troys of the world TDS is also adding multiple links to live chat on its website.

The chat lines are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST. To live chat with one of TDS’ representatives you can go to tdstelecom.com/chat. Of course if you’re old school like me or if you just really enjoy talking on the phone like Baby Troy you can dial 1-866-571-6662. All right. Good Luck. Cat Food!
