TDS in negotiations with WNAB in Tennessee

UPDATE 12/31/17: Our contract to carry these channels has expired. As a result, we have removed WNAB from our channel line-up. We hope to continue negotiations to restore these offerings.

TDS is negotiating with Nashville License Holdings, LLC to renew our contract to carry WNAB’s CW (on channels 23 and 1023) and Stadium (channel 58) in Mt. Juliet and La Vergne, Tennessee.

Our contract ends on December 31 at 11:59 p.m. If an agreement is not reached by that time, we will be forced to remove the channels from the line-up.

TDS is always looking for ways to keep your overall bill as low as possible. With this and every negotiation, we are advocating on your behalf for fair and reasonable rates. Steep increases in programming costs are a constant concern and we will continue to keep your pocketbook in mind.

Thank you for your patience and support as we keep working on your behalf. And, as always, thank you for being a TDS customer.

Very upset about this. Four of five shows I record are on the CW channel. I have a find a different provider.

#have to find a different provider. Sorry for the grammar error.

We’re sorry to hear this, Sinclair. Please know this is not a decision we made lightly—in fact, this was not the outcome we were hoping for. Hopefully streaming your shows for free online will work for you in the meantime.

Any update on this? This is one of our favorite channels?

Tonya, we were unable to reach an agreement with Nashville Holdings to continue carrying these channels. You can still enjoy this content for free online, however. CW shows are available at CWTV.com or on the free CW mobile app beginning at 11 p.m. on the night the show originally aired on TV. (Note: The CW website also says they have apps for Roku, Chromecast, AirPlay, Apple TV, Xbox One and Amazon Fire TV as well. If you have one of these devices, it appears you could also stream shows right on your TV. http://www.cwtv.com/thecw/the-cw-app) You can stream Stadium network at watchstadium.com and show videos are also on their website.
