As of 05:30am on 02/02 MST we are aware of an outage impacting local channels in Mesquite Nevada and surrounding areas.
There is no need to call in and report your issue if you are impacted. We are working to restore services as quickly as possible and, if needed, will provide any additional updates during business hours.
Trinity Center, CA outage
3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1: We are happy to report that phone and internet service has been restored for customers in the Trinity Center area. After gaining access to the tower yesterday, crews completed repairs and confirmed that internet and phone are again working for customers as of this afternoon, Feb. 1. We truly appreciate customers’ patience as we recovered from this unprecedented situation. If you are still experiencing issues, please call our repair/tech support line at 888-225-5837.
3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31: Crews this morning were able to access the impaired tower that caused the internet and phone outage for residents in the Trinity Center area and began making repairs and adjustments. While the outage continues at this time, we are making progress and are optimistic services will be restored soon. We will provide more updates as soon as information becomes available.”
1:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27: We eagerly anticipate accessing the tower soon and will provide another update early next week. We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience as we work to restore services.
9:50 a.m. PT Saturday, Jan. 21: Crews have restored the ability for customers to make 911 calls on landlines. We continue to work toward full restoration of phone and internet service.
Original post: TDS continues to experience outages in California related to the heavy storms the state has experienced. In the Trinity Center area, snow and ice have impaired a tower that is essential to providing telecommunications to customers, and current conditions prevent us from making repairs and restoring services. As we wait for weather to improve, TDS crews continue to work diligently on alternative solutions. We understand our customers’ frustrations and greatly appreciate your patience as we work to address this situation. We will provide further updates as soon as information becomes available.
