The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) announced yesterday that TDS Telecom (TDS®) has been awarded a Gold Level Award as part of its Vets Ready Initiative. The award recognizes TDS’ commitment to hiring veterans, supporting its veteran workforce, and maintaining outreach to the greater veteran community.
“We’re thrilled to accept this award from the Department of Workforce Development,” says TDS Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Kathy Cefalu, “Veterans are highly valued contributors at every level of our organization. They bring experience, skills, and talents that are key part of what makes TDS a great place to work.”
DWD announced the Vets Ready Initiative in January of this year. TDS was one of only five employers recognized with a Gold Level award.
