TDS

TDS serves almost 10% of the smartest cities in the U.S.

madisonHave you seen the “Smartest Cities in America” list that’s floating around the web this week? I saw it reported on Venturebeat.com, but I’m sure its also been listed elsewhere. Here’s the scoop: Lumosity has ranked U.S. cities by their raw cognitive performance (based on what they are claiming is the largest dataset of human cognitive performance) and made a list of the smartest cities.

When I took a quick glance at the list I noticed out of the top 100, TDS serves customers in 9 of them:

    Ann Arbor, Mich.
    Appleton, Wis.
    Madison, Wis.
    Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis, Wis.
    Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minn.
    St. Cloud, Minn.
    Oshkosh-Neenah, Wis.
    Fon du Lac, Wis.
And, Des Moines-West Des Moines, Iowa (with Vital Support Systems)

(And 6 more TDS communities are are just a stone’s throw away from others on the list.)

This just confirms what we’ve always known—our customers are pretty darn smart :-).
