TDS named Best of North Idaho

Once again, TDS reigns in North Idaho.

TDS has been named the Best Internet Provider in the Business Journal of North Idaho’s annual competition, marking the second consecutive year TDS has taken home the award. The company entered the region in 2019 when it began building a high-speed, all-fiber internet network to connect homes and businesses in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, and Rathdrum.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized as our region’s best local internet provider. We’re proud that we’ve built an infrastructure to support North Idaho residents and businesses and given back to many local nonprofits that make our region a great place to live. I’m overjoyed to experience the impact that TDS has created in this beautiful area I call home,” said Sandy Raudebaugh, associate manager of field marketing in Coeur d’Alene.

The North Idaho region features spectacular scenery, with lakes and mountains dotting the landscape. The communities are tight-knit with residents that love small town life. “North Idaho is more than just a zip code – it’s a lifestyle,” Sandy says.

Last year, TDS increased speeds to up to 8Gig in much of the region. This robust connection means subscribers can download and upload files – regardless of size – nearly instantaneously, making it well suited for commercial customers as well as households with large, shared internet needs.

TDS’ TV product, TDS TV®+, offers local and national networks, integration with popular streaming services, the ability to start shows over, and cloud DVR. Phone packages and service bundles are also available.

Local teams have worked hard to connect homes and businesses as well as support a number of deserving local organizations. For example, in its Week of Giving campaign last year, TDS made donations to a local homeless shelter, Boys & Girls Club, violence prevention center, and police and fire departments, while also holding a food drive benefitting a veterans service organization.

“Besides the beauty of the lakes and mountains and all the enjoyable outdoor activities, it’s really the people that make North Idaho home. We’re honored to be part of this community and look forward to serving this region for years to come,” Raudebaugh said.
