Jim Butman, TDS’ President and CEO speaks directly to customers about the dispute with Nexstar Media Group. Jim thanks customers for their support as TDS continues negotiations with Nexstar.
Jim tells customers that negotiations are not going well. “Nexstar continues to prevent us from broadcasting their channels in our lineup and it’s not because of our lack of effort.” TDS has offered options to help resolve the dispute, but Nexstar has refused each one.
Jim says that TDS “never imagined that these negotiations would drag on this long.” Please know that TDS is working on applying credits to your account for lost programming.

Thank you for working so hard to reach an agreement with Nexstar. I would love to have the major network back, but I can manage without it. Don’t give in to their unreasonable demands. I know you are frustrated with this situation and I want you to know that you have my support.
