The CW viewing options
We want to make sure you know alternative ways for catching any shows you might miss on The CW while the channels are not available in the Indianapolis DMA.

Alternative viewing ideas

Fortunately, there are several ways—even for free—you can access the shows you’d like to watch.

  1. Head to the web and/or download the CW app. comprovides access to CW network shows beginning at 11 p.m. the night the show aired on broadcast TV. The CW also has a free app available on most streaming devices so you can watch shows on your TV at no cost only a few hours after they originally aired.
  2. The CW on Netflix. The CW and Netflix have an agreement to allow for most of their original series to be available on Netflix eight days after the season finale. Examples of these shows include: The Vampire Diaries, Reign, Arrow, Life Sentence, Charmed, Dynasty, Riverdale, Roswell, New Mexico.
  3. Local news available by live-streaming. You can stay up to date with local news and weather by live-streaming WISH-TV Channel 8, a CW-affiliated station at com/live-stream/

Please know, we try very hard to negotiate fair rates and provide you with affordable video service. We will not agree to rates that far exceed the market rate TDS pays to other broadcasters to distribute the same networks.  We know this is frustrating for our customers and not something we want to do either. Steep increases in programming costs are a constant concern and TDS will continue to keep you and your wallet in mind.
