New tech support scams
Updated! The Better Business Bureau and the FTC are warning consumers about a new kinds of tech support scams. Typically these kinds of cons involve a phony representative helping you “fix” a fake computer problem for a fee. Now scammers are trying new approaches. They may offer you a refund or let you come to them for a change.
Watch out for travel scams
March can be a busy travel month with most students having a week off of school for spring break and most people ready to escape the winter weather. Because of the increased volume in travel, many websites will have deals and promotions. While you may be eager to book that cheap hotel room or flight, don’t be fooled by scammers.

Popular music doesn’t always make for the best music. There are plenty of multi-platinum records out there that quite frankly, aren’t worth listening to. Today’s band has been has been making music since the late ‘80s, and outside of the featured album, haven’t generated a ton of accolades—but they’re a solid group.
Celebrating Pi Day
March 14th of every year has become a celebration of the Greek letter “π”, used to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter—approximately 3.14.
