TV is beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Tis the season to catch your our favorite holiday specials and some new Christmas movies and specials. ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas schedule starts next week, The Hallmark Channel is kicking it into high gear starting tonight, and there’s more to look for too!

Programming highlights for November 25-30:

Starting tonight, the Hallmark channel kicks off their special five-night Thanksgiving weekend event. Check out the preview below, and, don’t miss the brand new Charlie Brown special Monday on ABC too.

It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown is a brand new special. The show will feature musical guests such as Sarah McLachlan, Stacy ‘Fergie” Ferguson reminiscing about her time playing Sally when she a child, and lots more. The Christmas classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas, follows after. The show starts at 8 p.m. but here’s a little sneak peak:

 

Programming highlights for December 1-25:

Once December hits, ABC Family’s offerings begin. They’ll be playing everything from classic specials such as The Grinch and The Year Without a Santa Clause (Heat Miser! Snow Miser!), to movie favorites such as National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

And, also coming in December, are six new Christmas movie premiers on Hallmark—including one directed by, and starring, Mariah Carey called A Christmas Melody (USA Today had a recent story about her new venture, if you’re interested).
