Service outage update

As of 4:30 p.m. central time on Friday, May 12, 2017, the outage was officially resolved. We have identified two technical issues created the widespread outage. Our technicians worked throughout the day to identify and then restore services. On behalf of all the employees here at TDS, we’d like to thank our customers for their patience. If customers are experiencing a service-related issue, they should contact our repair team at 888-225-5837.

UPDATE: 4:30 p.m. CST – Outage situation continues to improve. Many markets are back up and operating as normal. On behalf of all the employees here at TDS we thank you for your patience during this rather challenging day. Our teams remain on-site and will work as long as necessary to make final restorations. We will continue to monitor the stabilization of the network throughout the weekend.  If you need help please contact us at 1-888-CALL TDS.

UPDATE: 2:30 p.m. CST: Outage situation beginning to improve community by community. We do not have an estimated time for full restoration at this time; however, our Network Services and Engineering teams continue working to restore services. Once we are fully restored we will develop a full assessment of all the impacts to our customers. We understand how important your internet, phone and TV services are and thank you for your patience during this outage.

UPDATE 12:25pm CST: Widespread outages continue. No estimated time of full restoration available; some sites are beginning to come back up. We have our engineering and technical teams working toward a resolution as fast as possible. Call volume is very high and will not result in any new information on the outage. There is no need to call in to report your service outage. Thank you for your continued patience.

Attention customers: We are experiencing an outage impacting multiple locations and services. Our Field Services team is working to restore services as quickly as possible. At this time, we do not have an estimated resolution time yet. We’ll continue to provide updates as they become available. There is no need to call in at this time to report if your services are not working.
